Rwanda: a volte la storia viene ricordata
ONU DI COPENHAGEN: ANCORA A FIANCO DEL RWANDA!
Di seguito l’autorevole intervento del nostro Sergio Bevilacqua all’ONU di Copenhagen.
Cari amici,
Nel 2010 organizzai un importante Programma di sviluppo integrato tra ITALIA, con il patrocinio del Ministero degli Affari Esteri, e RWANDA, con il patrocinio del Governo di quel Paese. Attraverso un attento lavoro di collegamento, mettemmo molte aziende dell’uno e dell’altro Paese nelle condizioni di dialogare e di sviluppare degli orizzonti economici prima sconosciuti. A coronamento, svolgemmo 3 convegni: uno a Roma presso la sede del bellissimo IsIAO (Istituto Italiano per l’Africa e l’Oriente), che ha chiuso i battenti nel 2016 (una vergogna…), uno a Reggio Emilia presso la sede dell’Associazione Industrali di via Toschi, e un terzo presso la Camera di Commercio di Venezia.
Gli amici ruandesi, tra cui la principessa Joss Umuganwa, si sono ricordati di Sergio, e mi hanno invitato all’ONU di Copenhagen per effettuare una conferenza su come ho aiutato il Paese violentato dal più cruento e sanguinario (non il maggiore…) genocidio della storia umana. Oltre un milione di TUTSI sono stati trucidati a colpi di machete dalla follia omicida…
Ho anche coinvolto Maria Antonietta Centoducati, che leggerà una poesia sul genocidio scritta dalla supertite S. A. R. Joss Umuganwa.

ONU IN COPENHAGEN: STILL STANDING BY RWANDA!
Dear friends, sometimes history is remembered.
In 2010, I organised an important Integrated Development Programme between ITALY, under the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and RWANDA, under the patronage of that country’s government. Through careful networking, we put many companies from both countries in a position to dialogue and develop economic horizons previously unknown. To crown it all, we held three conferences: one in Rome at the headquarters of the beautiful IsIAO (Italian Institute for Africa and the East), which closed its doors in 2016 (a shame…), one in Reggio Emilia at the headquarters of the Associazione Industrali in via Toschi, and a third at the Venice Chamber of Commerce.
Rwandan friends, including Princess Joss Umuganwa, remembered Sergio, and invited me to the UN in Copenhagen to give a lecture on how I helped the country raped by the bloodiest and bloodiest (not the greatest…) genocide in human history. More than a million TUTSI were slaughtered with machetes by the murderous madness….
I have also involved Maria Antoinette Centoducati, who will read a poem about the genocide written by the supertite S. A. R. Joss Umuganwa.
SO THAT IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!
